205-208, 1995. Dr. Frans Ronteltap is associate
professor in the department of Educational Development and Research. He studied
Educational Science at the University of Groningen and wrote his thesis about
the role of domain specific knowledge in problem solving. From 1986 till 1995
he managed the development and evaluation of computer programs in the medical
curriculum. Now he is senior researcher in the Learning Lab division of the
Maastricht McLuhan Institute, project
manager of several projects in the development of an electronic learning
environment to support student learning in
problem based curricula. Andre Koehorst studied Psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit
Nijmegen (specialization Cognitive Sciences). He worked at the Research
Institute for Knowlegde Systems in Maastricht and at the Department of
Educational Development and Research at the Universiteit Maastricht. He
currently holds a position as assistant professor at the Learning Lab, Maastricht McLuhan
Institute, where he works on the design, implementation and evaluation of
computer tools to support and improve problem based learning. He is interested
in and has worked on computer supported collaborative learning, electronic
learning environments, authoring tools, clinical simulations and architectures
for WWW-applications. |
